We are two very poor college students living out our dreams at the BEAUTIFUL Gemological Institute of America aka GIA.

Since our days at GIA began only a short time ago we have had some interesting times.

So interesting in fact, we decided to blog the crap out of them!

Parden my french, but we are talkin moments where you look at each other and go," You have GOT to be kidding.... only us... only. US!"

So here are just a few we have on record. The others are so ridiculous they wont hold any water without the pics.

So we wake up at the buttcrack of dawn to catch the train cause we live so far from the school.

We watch the sun come up and set! Its actually pretty cool

Most the time we sleep.

Sleeping with your glasses on gives you this super cool V between your eyes-

only the cool kids have them! right?

We have our BAG O' BLANKETS & pillows, yes pillows to take sweet, much deserved naps on the way there and back and occasional car naps on our breaks!

Now if you have ever ridden on any form of public transportation you know there are chances you may run into some interesting individuals. We have certainly met a few. But one that we actually really look forward to seeing is the colorful lady. She is always wearing one color. be it ALL pink or ALL red. its actually really creative.

Now-Check out this very angry lookin lady in the back ground-

she never has a smile on her face EVER! Weird.

We also have some other friends we like to affectionately call "THE GRUMPY OLD MEN"

Now, they aren't really all that grumpy, but its a cool nick name we thought.

There is Leo(yellow jacket), Darrel (engineer), Matt (Young guy), and last but certainly not least Elwood (awesome accent! South Africa). They sit in the sdame seats everyday and always have smiles on their faces when they greet us! Some times they even save us sets! How nice.

We love seeing them everyday :)

After we get off the train we drive O.F. (Ol' faithful) or as we call it O F! Cindy's daddy's old work truck. It is perfect for the train station. we leave it in carlsbad so we have a way to school from the train. it has really come in handy cause we had my husbands car there for a while and it got hit! bummer- but the lady was real nice and left a note. its all pretty now.

And now more about class and what we do all day....

So this is where we go to school isnt it beautiful?! WE LOVE IT!

(I think i look like an ewok from starwars with my face mask on ahaha. I wear it cause i shot a ring into my eye and scratched my cornea in 2 places :) i was really lucky it wasn't worse~!! Children, always wear your eye protection. )
